UAE backs 27m barrels

The UAE will argue that oil production should be kept at the current 27m bpd when Opec meets on January 30, according to Oil Minister Mohamed Al Hamili. But regional oil ministers are warning that Opec will need to reduce supplies for the second quarter starting in April when demand ebbs after the end of the northern winter, reported Reuters.
