Pakistan pushes pipeline

Pakistan government officials will continue with a project to pipe gas from the Gulf to the subcontinent even if India refuses or is unable to join the plan. The 1,600 km pipeline will transfer gas from Iran to India through Pakistan's southwestern Baluchistan province, which has been under a low-level tribal insurgency.
