New online business radio service develops strong audience in Middle East
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, January 30 - 2005 at 15:24
- PRESS RELEASE
After the resounding success of their numerous multimedia services, including AME Info Broadcast video features and Webcast TVC's, AME Info has begun streaming AME Info Radio, the region's first business-focused online radio station.
The streaming programmes on AME Info Radio are in magazine-style format, complementing AME Info's existing breaking news content and in-depth analysis. They are presented and produced by one of the region's most accomplished broadcasters, Phil Blizzard.
"AME Info Radio is an exciting development aimed at stimulating your working environment with an eclectic mix of music, features and interviews. Offering everything from business orientated shows to more entertainment and leisure focused programmes, we aim to successfully cater to our diverse viewership, providing a value added service that ensures that they keep coming back for more," said Blizzard.
AME Info Radio will include a broad mix of programming, including "Executive Views", an interview-based segment, which will feature leading business figures from across the region. "Techno News" will take a look at the latest software, hardware and road-test some of the high-tech gadgets and gizmos. "Executive Breaks" is an informative radio travel segment providing news on some of the hottest destinations, for both business and leisure travel.
For some light relief, a monthly programme called "Celebrity Views" will feature an interview with a famous personality from the world of showbiz, sport or entertainment.
"Our listeners will be delighted to know that we have a feature interview with international music sensation George Michael. Stay tuned for further information," added Blizzard.
The live radio stream can be accessed at http://www.ameinfo.com and features can be downloaded at any time. The station plays a mix of adult contemporary music and classics.
"As well as providing the most reliable source for business news in the region, we're also providing our viewers with an opportunity to get a little downtime," concluded Blizzard.
