A large number of international Human Resource specialists from the United States, Canada, Britain, Gulf, and Middle East are expected to attend the conference, which is being held under the patronage of Dr. Mohammed Khalfan bin Kharbash, Minister of State for Finance and Industry and Chairman of Etisalat.
This was announced during a joint press conference conducted yesterday at Etisalat Academy in Dubai by the following sponsors: Abdul Aziz Al Sawaleh, Executive Vice President -Human Resources - Emirates Telecommunication Corporation' Etisalat', Dr. Doaa Fares, General Manager - Etisalat Academy and the main sponsors of the conference, Abdullah Al Dabous, General Manager - Emirates Post, Hamad Al Awadi, Representative for Emirates Centre for Strategic Research, Gasper Smith, Deputy Vice president - Human Resources in the Middle East , Kamal Bakir, Dubai Commercial Bank and representative from Abu Dhabi Investment Company and Huawei. In addition, representatives from the supporting partners also attended including IBM, Oracle, ZTE, and the Federation of the UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Abdul Aziz Al Sawaleh said, 'All views and indications, on a regional and international level, have pointed to the significance of human resource as a crucial factor in any administration or organization. Due to this fact, our establishment has focused on nurturing and developing this human framework and thus making it the turning point in its success. It was this philosophy that initially positioned H.H. the Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan as president of this nation. The flourishing of this nation is based on growth of its human resources. This annual conference discusses the latest in human resource technology and product development. It presents the best methods of implementation in our region to support our human frameworks through the latest in operational and theoretical practices.
Dr. Doaa Fares, General Manager, Etisalat Academy, said : ' The development of Human Resources is one of the essential factors that contribute to the progress and success of any organization.
