Hilton International concentrate on driving bookings online
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, January 30 - 2005 at 16:28
Based on a re-evaluation of underperforming traditional distribution partnerships, Hilton International have opted instead to concentrate efforts on driving direct consumer bookings via Hilton's brand websites.
Utilizing, TradeDoubler's extensive publishing partner network, the move will see Hilton embrace performance based marketing readily trackable through the Internet.
Jerome Wise, director of channel marketing for Hilton, said: "With online technology continually making things faster and more convenient - driving sales through our brand web sites is vital."
The affiliate program will start in the UK, with plans for extension across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Germany early in 2005. Perhaps we may just see Hotels following suit here in the Middle East?
