Hybrid cars too costly, Nissan CEO

Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn told journalists that gasoline-electric hybrid cars are still too costly to produce. But pressure from Californian regulators will lead to the introduction of a hybrid version of the Altima next year. Our profitability on the hybrid version will be much lower than on the normal Altima, said Ghosn.
