FESD Dubai, the regional leader in system and security solutions based on biometric technology and disaster prevention systems, used the annual security exhibition to provide potential clients with 'hands-on' demonstrations of its biometric solutions for access control, time & attendance, and personnel management, as well as to showcase the company's latest biometric systems, such as the FESD 450 Door Lock.
'As the UAE is such a demanding market for us, we haven't had as much time as we would have hoped to dedicate to neighboring countries' explained FESD Dubai's Jonathan Sandals.'INTERSEC 2005 has allowed potential end-users from across the Middle East to work with our hardware and software in person, providing them with the opportunity to see biometric technology as a practical and logical alternative to more traditional methods of security.'
By integrating the precise data obtained from biometric systems into software systems that can monitor and control the workflow of employees, FESD Dubai has focused on shifting the image of biometric technology away from an expensive tool for elite institutions to a sensible option for businesses wanting an alternative to swipe cards, passwords, and personal ID tags.
'Over the past couple of years FESD has seen a huge decrease in the cost of its biometric systems along with a significant increase in the quality and reliability of its technologies' concludes Mr. Sandals. 'This change in cost and reliability has pushed the potential market for biometrics to the small and medium business community while solidifying its role in more high profile environments, such as airports and border control.'
INTERSEC 2005 was the second time FESD Dubai participated in the international security exhibition since the company's regional office opened in 2002. The company's participation in last year's event was credited with pushing FESD Dubai's client base above the 350 mark.
INTERSEC helps FESD Dubai surpass 500 Biometric installations throughout the Middle East, Africa, and India.
New clients and partners in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, credited for driving the company to its current position in the regional security market
