Subscribers to e-Pehla's basic, silver or gold packages now have the option of adding on the Tara Bangla, ATN Bangla and NTV channels. The three channels will showcase general entertainment programmes for family viewing.

Tara Bangla offers a variety of soaps, movies, news and sports entertainment. ATN Bangla was one of the first Bangla private satellite channels and its quality programmes, hourly English news bulletin and live coverage of events is popular with the Bengali community.

NTV Bangla, one of the top rated channels in Bangladesh, offers a package that includes news, entertainment, top drama serials such as Sporsher Baire and Tin Purush, musicals, movies, documentaries, children's shows and cultural programmes.

Humaid Rashid Sahoo, E-Vision's Chief Executive Officer, said: "The addition of the Bangla channels reflects our commitment to offering our customers the best and widest possible. We aim to meet the needs of all sections of the culturally diverse population of the UAE."

E-Vision's introduction of the channels for the e-Pehla packages follows hard on the heels of Arab Digital Distribution's (ADD) addition of these channels to the Pehla package.
