DCCI receives the Secretary-General of Arab-French Chamber of Commerce

The meeting discussed the ways of boosting communication and reaction between both organizations and the issues of mutual concern. Dr. Tayar gave a briefing on the recent developments and reconstruction taken place at CCFA as well as its further steps and initiatives towards promoting the relationships with the French business and community and other Arab diplomatic missions & foreign business organizations based in Paris.

Dr. Tayar disclosed that a new headquarter for CCFA is being developed honored by the name of Late President Sheikh Zayed of Sultan Al Nahyan of UAE, recalling his generous support to the organization.

He added that CCFA is currently doing great efforts in boosting the business dialogue and networking between all Arab business community and their counterparts in France. In that regard, the organization is the coordinator, at the same time, always represented in all delegations and missions exchanged between the two sides. Dr. Tayar highlighted the successful visit paid recently by a French business delegation to Sultanate of Oman which had meetings with the business personalities in the capital and even went deep into the provincial and remote towns in the country to scan the factories and small & medium enterprises.

He mentioned that some Arab-French businesswomen meetings and events were also organizes by the organization in a bid to maintain a large contact and interaction vision exchange between Arab Businesswomen and their French counterparts.

Dr. Tayar said that CCFA currently has eight representative offices in the provinces of France such as Marsilles, Lyon, Tolouse and others. He also said that the organization would look after all Arab trade exhibitions proposed to be held in France, benefiting from a twinning agreement which he has signed with Paris Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Mr. Mutaiwee congratulated Dr. Tayar for the achievements done and praised his diligent and prompt efforts for attracting all Arab Ambassadors as well as the concerned French authorities in order to maintain productive Arab-French business networking.
