This year's voting campaign reached a total of 160,000 travel professionals worldwide of which 80,000 were travel agents. Over 400,000 travel agents cast vote and 2,500,000 million individual category votes were registered online in 2004 showing a 25% increase from the previous year. The Gala Awards Ceremony took place on the 11th December 2004 in Barbados.
