Lufthansa wins top award for leadership development

Lufthansa has won another top international award for leadership development.
The Corporate University Xchange Awards salute companies that set global standards in corporate learning and executive training and development. The best and most innovative practices are recognised in seven areas: alignment to business goals, alliances with outsourcing service providers and academic institutions, e-learning, marketing, measurement strategies, launching a corporate university and leadership development.
The Lufthansa School of Business, Germany's first corporate university, has already received a number of awards, including the Corporate University Xchange Annual Award in 2000 for the best European corporate university. The school strives to promote practice-oriented strategies for leadership development, ongoing improvements in processes and world-class management training and development.
Lufthansa is one of the world's biggest and most prestigious airlines. It reserves the world number one position in terms of 'revenue'. The airline successfully owns a fleet of 360 aircrafts and is among the world's top ten airlines. Lufthansa is a founding member of the Star Alliance. Lufthansa flies to over 175 destinations in 75 countries and has over 1,550 flights a day.
