Gulf Business Machines Abu Dhabi holds annual kick-off meeting

Gulf Business Machines (GBM) Abu Dhabi, Distributor for selected IBM products and services in the GCC excluding Saudi Arabia, held its annual Kick-Off meeting recently at Bin Hamooda Majlis.

Cesare Cardone, GBM's Chief Executive Officer, highlighted the achievements of 2004 and presented this year's business plan to staff. The event - which was also attended by senior GBM and IBM executives as well as representatives of the Board of Directors - provided an ideal opportunity to honour outstanding staff whose efforts contributed to the achievements of the year.

"2004 was a positive year for GBM, where we implemented a number of innovative customer solutions in the country. We have diversified our businesses, joined forces with additional new business partners and added to the skills of our employees," said Akram Jawhary, General Manager, GBM, Abu Dhabi.

A number of GBMers were awarded for their dedication, team spirit, hard work and excellent overall performance during the event.
