Info2cell is taking part in this four-day global event, which attracts leading corporations top-level speakers, including CEOs, under the umbrella of Acotel, its parent company. The annual gathering is where the international mobile community sets the agenda for the coming year and has become a permanent fixture in the industry's events calendar. This is the 5th consecutive year in which Info2cell.com is present in the event.
'With wireless communication and messaging spreading at a rapid pace, players with innovation and advanced technology have the opportunity to make a mark on the global stage,' said Bashar Dahabra, Founder and CEO of Info2cell.com. 'Info2cell.com has pioneered the wireless information delivery solutions in the Middle East. Now, with the added support of Acotel, we are geared to make an even stronger mark on the world stage. We are delighted to be at the 3GSM World Congress and showcase our services to a global audience.'
Info2cell.com will highlight a wide range of services including its news alerts via SMS and MMS, its state of the art WASP platform, GPRS, GSM and Edge services as well as its interactive mobile services for TV channels.
'The Congress is a strategic platform to underline the fact that the Middle East is among the fastest growing regions as far as mobile penetration is concerned,' added Dahabra. 'Already, mobile phone subscriptions outnumber fixed lines and the pace of growth of the mobile phone community is so fast that this region is slowly becoming one of the key focus areas for the world's wireless industry. At info2cell.com we foresee ourselves as continuing to consolidate our position as a frontline player in the wireless communication revolution. Participating in events like 3GSM World Congress is one of the forums for achieving our objective.'
The 3GSM World Congress consists of a conference, an exhibition and other events. This year's Congress will focus on four key themes: Business Importance of Technical Innovation, Defining Future Opportunities - No limits to Growth, Driving Value for the Wireless Services and Expanding the Boundaries of Today and Tomorrow CSM. The panel of speakers will include 107 tier-one board level speakers, including more than 50 CEOs.
This year, the exhibition has added 3,000 square metres of additional space to meet the extra demand. The exhibition will unveil the latest technology in the world of wireless and 3G communications.
The 3GSM World Congress held last year attracted 29,000 visitors, including 150 CEOs and 4,600 senior executives. This year the event has attracted bigger participation, with the number of GSM using users having crossed the 1 billion mark.
