The group, which comprises six leading London hospitals including the Lister Hospital, the London Bridge Hospital and the Portland Hospital for Women and Children, attributes the growth to the close collaboration with the various UAE health ministries in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain. "The level of co-operation and interest shown in our Doctors and services by the Ministries of Health has been outstanding" said Elizabeth Boultbee, Head of International Business for the group. "We are also working with the Ministries to arrange visiting Doctor programmes where medical professionals can share knowledge and expertise and keep abreast of advances in medicine and surgery."

Reflecting the importance of the Middle East to the group, HCA International has brought out 12 Doctors from a variety of specialities to attend the Arab Health exhibition. Many of the Doctors will be participating in the various conferences arranged by IIR to coincide with the event.

Among the speakers at the Oncology Conference on February 14th, Professor Karol Sikora, Professor of Cancer Medicine, Imperial College and former advisor on Cancer to the World Health Authority, will be delivering the keynote speech "The Theraputic Revolution in Cancer."

HCA International will also be represented in the Orthopaedics Symposium on 12th February by Dr. Robert Hill, Senior Orthopaedic Consultant, who specialises in the correction of limb deformities in children.
