During his meeting with the newly-appointed Turkish Consul General, Mr. Ihsan Yucel, they discussed tourism related issues and DTCM's participation in the road shows and exhibitions in Turkey.
Wishing him success in his new assignment the Director General said: "The department will be happy to assist you as and when required. Turkey is a very important market for us and Dubai hotel establishments have seen an increase in the number of visitors from Turkey."
He also received Dr. Panayotis Theodoracopoulos, Ambassador of Greece. They discussed issues of bi-lateral interests and ways to strengthen relations between Greece and the UAE in general and Dubai in particular.
Mr. bin Sulayem also updated him on the efforts by the department in promoting Dubai worldwide.
