In WETEX 2005, Bahrain Convention & Exhibition Bureau promoted Kingdom of Bahrain as the leading Convention and Exhibition destination, and the business and investment regional gateway to the GCC and neighboring countries. BCEB stands in the exhibition also promoted Bahrain events.
BCEB has been appointed the 3rd Asia Information Technology Ministers Summit Secretariat, responsible for the organization of the Summit's program, logistics, hospitality and all other related preparations. The 3rd Asia IT Ministers Summit will be held at Bahrain Convention Centre concurrently with Telecom Arabiya 2005 Exhibition and Conference between 21-22 March 2005.
The Summit was first held in South Korea in 2003, followed by Hyderabad Summit in India 2004 and then Kingdom of Bahrain won the honor of hosting this summit in 2005, where 60 ministers from all countries of Asia and Middle East have been invited to participate.

Bahrain Convention and Exhibition Bureau participated in the Water and Electricity Exhibition and Conference 'WETEX2005' which was held at Dubai World Trade Centre between 1-3 February 2005.
