CO-OP ISLAMI unveils new product range at Gulf Food 2005

CO-OP ISLAMI, the region's leading producer and retailer of real halal products, will reveal a range of new innovative products at Gulf Food 2005, the fastest growing exhibition of its kind in the Middle East, due to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from February 20 to 23.

Under the theme "Your Food, Our World", CO-OP ISLAMI is using the biennial food exhibition as a platform in which to launch its new line of frozen seafood for the first time in the region. The company's complete range of products will be showcased at its dedicated stand, located in Hall 5, Stand 31.

Commenting on the company's participation in the major food exhibition, Saleh Abdulla Lootah, Chief Executive Officer, CO-OP ISLAMI, said: "In keeping pace with the needs of our customers in the Middle East, CO-OP ISLAMI is constantly striving to expand its range of helal products. We see Gulf Food 2005 as the ideal platform in which to introduce our seafood products and highlight our comprehensive range of food items."

During the four-day exhibition, live cooking shows, using CO-OP ISLAMI's products, will be conducted by a chef at the company's stand at xx time each day. Furthermore, CO-OP ISLAMI's 48-square metre pavilion will be developed by a French company specializing in the construction of exhibition booths.

CO-OP ISLAMI's current portfolio of helal products encompasses approximately 150 products, ranging from fresh and frozen meat products such as burgers, sausages and sea food, to cheeses and vegetables.

CO-OP ISLAMI is committed to the concept of "Real Halal" which guarantees the supply of products that are totally compliant with the standards and principles of Islamic Shariah. The company's commitment is not limited to conditions of the Halal production concepts, but also it goes beyond this by making sure that the hens are fed by 100% fodder of vegetarian sources and not by any other kind of harmful hormones.
