- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, February 20 - 2005 at 13:37
- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai Properties, exhibitors at Home Owner Dubai, to be held at the Madinat Arena 24-26 February 2005, are showcasing the 64m sqft Business Bay development at the event.
Unveiled late last year by General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defence Minister, Business Bay intends to create a new commercial and business cluster and is planned to be the cornerstone of a new economic push as well as extend the international role of the UAE. Extensive Research by top international consultancies confirms that the Business Bay project will make the desired change.
General Manager of the organisers, Motivate Events, Simon O'Herlihy said, "Business Bay reflects the ambitious vision of Dubai and the role that the UAE is looking forward to play as a leading international commercial and business centre. The essence of the project lies in extending Dubai Creek and to allow construction of a huge new city within the city. The importance of this unique project lies in the tremendous impact it will have on the local economy.'
He added, "Having a project of such magnitude at Home Owner Dubai underlines the importance the event has in providing real estate investors and buyers with a full spectrum of projects to consider. Alongside Business Bay we have a number of new and existing developments on show as well as a wide range of new to market and resale properties".
"The project is expected to be in similar format to Manhattan or Ginza, which are the business centres for cities like New York and Tokyo. As a result we expect a number of visitors to the event form around the world specifically targeting the development as their local, regional and international headquarters" he concluded.
