"Johnson & Johnson Middle East is pleased to announce its partnership with Dubai Healthcare City. Our facility at DHCC will serve as our regional headquarters, benefiting the integrated state-of-the art infrastructure and international quality and standards. In addition to our physical presence, Johnson & Johnson Middle East is committed to playing a larger role in areas of medical education including patient and physician continuing education. In the long-term, we will also seek possible collaborative opportunities in areas of medical research, with the goal of participating in significant medical and life science research projects that address medical care needs of the UAE and the broader region," said Francois Guenot Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson Medical Middle East

"This collaboration is another milestone for Dubai Healthcare City in providing state-of-the-art healthcare products and services, while implementing international quality and standards. This is also another important and far reaching collaboration that DHCC has embarked upon and we believe that we will serve as a global role model for the development of a high quality centre for comprehensive healthcare delivery, medical education and research," stated Saeed Al Muntafiq, Chairman of the Board, DHCC.

"The purpose of this strategic collaboration is to build upon the already-strong foundation existing at Dubai Healthcare City with our other partners. A leading healthcare product and service provider such as J&J will bring value added services in areas that would complement the activities of the city's healthcare professionals. The physicians, specialists, healthcare technicians would have access to a wider range of educational opportunities directly related to their day-to-day operations," added Al Muntafiq.

Mr. Guenot added that "In line with our credo, we believe our first responsibility is to the doctors, nurses and patients... and all... who use our products and services. In meeting their needs everything we do must be of high quality. We want to be part of the growth of DHCC, and extend our commitment to DHCC's strive for world-class healthcare quality and standards, as it will create a regional centre for medical excellence and expand the healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical products and services sector."

"The concept of gathering all the healthcare and medical services community and facilities in one cluster of dedicated providers will provide synergies within this industry. We are sure that we would be able to leverage our providers, suppliers and corporate users in one location," Francois Guenot added.
