- PRESS RELEASE
The leading annual hospitality forum in the Middle East is scheduled for the twelfth consecutive year at BIEL from April 5th to 8th over a total exhibition area of 12,000m2.
Many first timer companies and countries will join the Horeca loyals in this year's edition. More than 300 exhibitors are expected from Lebanon and the region, alongside participants from Armenia, Austria, Cyprus, Italy and Poland, and newcomers from Australia, Brazil and Hong Kong. Two wings for each of France and Germany are expected as well.
"We have witnessed a sizeable increase in the number of participants", says Mrs. Joumana Damous Salameh, Managing Director of Hospitality Services - exclusive organizers of Horeca. According to her, the forum is growing along with the growth of the hospitality and food industry, and the progress of the tourism and hotel sectors. The increase in the number of hotels and restaurants in the region have created a need for more resources; more human resources and more technological and industrial improvement and innovation, thus the amplified significance of Horeca year after year.
Salameh also noted that Horeca is the yearly gathering of producers, investors, distributors and hospitality people. "Horeca is ideal for this industry. This is where companies are making their futures happen in the region. It is an annual opportunity where the latest industry developments, inventions and technologies come together under one roof, and where talents and ideas emerge."
