Standard Chartered honours long serving staff

Standard Chartered, one of the leading international banks in the UAE, has rewarded 66 staff members as part of its long service recognition programme.

The awards, presented to staff completing five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of service, are part of a worldwide initiative from Standard Chartered to recognise the contribution of long serving employees.

"Standard Chartered is lucky to enjoy a high level of staff loyalty, which is a reflection of the emphasis the bank places on staff engagement," said Ray Ferguson, Chief Executive, Standard Chartered UAE.

"Happy staff are a prerequisite to having happy customers, and by rewarding long service, Standard Chartered recognises the importance of these individuals in advancing our business."

Of the 66 staff presented with the award by Ferguson, two had completed 30 years of service with two others notching up 35 years at the bank.
