Bahrain, which won the Federation Automobile International (FIA) award, for the best organised race in the 2004 calendar, is looking to surpass the heady heights of last year with another race to remember from 1-3 April 2005.

Dnata Agencies, Gulf Air's General Sales Agent in Dubai, has also teamed up with the airline to offer Dubai race fans special Gulf Air race-day packages and the chance to witness the spectacle live. To highlight these special packages and bring some of the race action closer to fans here, the Gulf Air Formula 1 car is making a pit stop at the Dnata Travel Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road together with a Formula 1 driving simulator.

Says Rashid Al Noori, Dnata Agencies' Senior Vice President: 'There has never been a better opportunity to experience one of sport's most exhilarating events. Day passes including flights, prime seats and transfers to and from the circuit. Not only are the prices competitive compared to other European races, but the excellent event planning means getting to and from the circuit - even inter Gulf - is easier than in most other F1 events.'

Rajeev Nambiar, Gulf Air's Area Manager, Dubai & Northern Emirates adds: 'Immigration has been streamlined in Bahrain while special transport is laid on from the airport, which has priority over all other traffic to ensure a smooth journey. And of course Gulf Air a number of convenient flights from Dubai to Bahrain from which race fans can choose for their one hour journey - ensuring they get there in style and comfort.'

Dnata Agencies will be selling the packages from a dedicated area within its new Holiday Lounge located on the ground floor of Dnata Travel Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road. There will also be a dedicated telephone, fax and email address for booking the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix packages.

Says Mr. Al Noori: 'There are only a limited number of packages available, so we encourage fans to get into gear as quickly as possible.'
