Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa celebrates 'Two Years of Service'

The Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa celebrated their first 'Two Years of Service' on the 23rd of February.
Philip Papadopoulos, the General Manager for the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa thanked all the staff for their efforts, hard work and loyalty. He commented, "I am extremely proud to be part of this team. The employees make this resort and they are the reason for its continuous success." He added, "Marriott's philosophy is happy employees make happy guests, therefore we assure all the staff that the management will always look after them and make sure they are happy and content in their jobs." The Resort is also very proud of the fact that almost two hundred staff members in various positions are employed from the local area of Sweimeh and the surrounding villages.
The Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa was officially opened by His Majesty King Abdullah II on the 21st of June, 2003. Located 400 meters below sea level, the lowest point on Earth, the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa features views of the Dead Sea from each of its 216 guest rooms and from nearly every facility and restaurant on the property. The resort, a 40-minute drive from Jordan's capital city of Amman, is set along the mineral-rich sea, which has been revered for its healing powers since ancient times. The Dead Sea is probably the most exceptional body of water on earth, and its surroundings the most extraordinary. At around 410 meters (1300 ft.) below sea level, with a depth of up to 400 meters, it is the lowest spot on earth.
