BenQ brings super fast LCD monitor to Middle East
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, February 27 - 2005 at 11:38
- PRESS RELEASE
BenQ, the region's leader in digital lifestyle products, has expanded its visual display line-up with the launch of a 23-inch LCD monitor, which has the fastest response rate currently available in the Middle East market.
"Many users of high-quality CRT monitors have wanted to switch over to LCD, but have been held back by poor response times," said Manish Bakshi, general manager, BenQ Middle East. "They now have an LCD monitor that matches the performance of the best CRT models, but with all the benefits of flat-panel technology - slim and fashionable designs, light weight, and low power consumption."
Featuring the very latest multimedia technology, BenQ's FP231W has a response time of just 16 milliseconds. A Webcam and SRS surround speakers are available as optional extras.
The FP231W delivers an impressive 63 images per second, offering one of the fastest single reaction speeds in the large-screen monitor category. Video enjoyment is also not impaired by ghosting and image trailing from visual applications.
The LCD monitor has a 23-inch viewing area, a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, and a 1920 x 1200 resolution. A contrast ratio of 500:1 for superior gray scaling, and brightness of 250 cd/m2, also enhances the monitor's picture clarity.
The LCD monitor comes with four USB ports, as well as D-Sub. DVI-D, S-Video and Composite video input.
"The FP231W meets the needs of today's business and home users, delivering a large viewing area and super fast response rates," added Bakshi. "This model provides more value for money than anything else currently available in the Middle East market."
