Batelco signs roaming agreement with Jordanian express telecoms

Batelco is adding a new destination to its extensive list of agreements with telecoms operators from around the globe by signing a new bi-lateral commercial roaming agreement with Xpress Telecommunications Company in Jordan.
The new agreement, which took effect on Saturday 26th February 2005, is part of Batelco's continued efforts to ensure that its customers can stay in constant touch with their loved ones, colleagues and businesses while traveling around the world.
The addition of this new network access within Jordan means that Batelco mobile users can now make and receive calls, send and receive text messages and use a raft of additional services in 105 countries through agreements with 254 mobile operators.
"We are delighted to provide our customers with this addition to our comprehensive roaming service," says Ahmed Al Janahi, Head of Corporate Affairs at Batelco. "Batelco spares no effort in helping to ensure that our customers' lives are easier and more convenient at both organisational and individual levels. Signing further roaming agreements with additional mobile operators comes in line with the company's long-term policy of keeping all its mobile customers in touch while they travel around throughout the world."
