Emirates Islamic Bank signs a Bank Master policy with ICIEC

Emirates Islamic Bank signed a Bank Master Policy with ICIEC, the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit, enabling Emirates Islamic Bank to benefit from ICIEC cover against default of payment, whether because of commercial (buyer) risk or political (country) risk.

Mr. Abdel Rahman Al Tayeb Taha, General Manager ICIEC said: "ICIEC offers the Bank Master Policy for Financial Institutions dealing in Islamic structure of export finance, buyer finance and project finance facilities extended to domestic or cross border customer base.

ICIEC provides Export Credit Insurance and Foreign Investment Insurance programs through a tailor made and customer oriented range of products for Exporters, Banks and Investors in member countries, covering their short, medium and long term activities.
