National Bank of Abu Dhabi partners with eCompany to implement e-learning solutions

In a landmark development for the UAE e-learning industry, eCompany, Etisalat's one-stop e-powerhouse Business Unit that provides Internet services and ICT Solutions, today announced its partnership with National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) to implement a LearnOnline e-learning solution for the bank's staff across the UAE branches.

eCompany will provide NBAD, the number one bank in the country with the largest number of branches and ATM network, with high quality content focused on the bank's business and professional development needs through its branded solution LearnOnline

The e-learning facility will enable NBAD staff in all UAE locations access an electronic library of 1,000 courses, in a flexible, convenient and cost effective way.

According to Khalfan Mohd Said, Head of Human Resources Group at NBAD, "The banking sector in UAE is very competitive and the key to success is to have well trained and efficient employees. The implementation of the LearnOnline solutions will help NBAD meets its objective of training employees at every level in order to maintain its leadership status. The ability to measure and track progress through Learning Management Systems is a key differentiator of eCompany and will benefit NBAD in refining its training needs."

According to Abdulla Hashim, Senior Manager, eCompany , "The partnership with National Bank of Abu Dhabi reflects the importance that e-learning can have for corporate training needs in terms of lower costs, on demand access, user convenience and eliminating geographical limitations".
