The agreement is in line with the company's commitment to play a leading role in the artistic and cultural scene of the UAE.

Mark Knopfler is the lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter behind rock supergroup Dire Straits. The band was formed in London in 1977 and went on to become an international success after the release of its debut album in 1978. Though it began as a group with a permanent lineup led by Knopfler, in its first few years it evolved into a brand name for Knopfler with varying personnel.
The Mark Knopfler concert is scheduled to take place on March 3 at the Dubai Media City.
