Comprising the special release of Mirador La Coleccion and Hattan III master planned developments, these communities enjoy an enviable location at The Desert Course at the Arabian Ranches and Emirates Golf Club respectively.

The announcement was made during a press briefing this morning at the Emirates Golf Club, venue of the Dubai Desert Classic sponsored once again by Emaar Properties.

Naaman Atallah, Director of Sales, Emaar Properties, said: "Living along expansive luxurious greens is the lifestyle vision of golfers and non golfers alike. A great number of homeowners who live in our communities along the Emirates Golf Club, The Montgomerie and the Arabian Ranches tell us they enjoy being next to the golf courses whether they play golf, or not."

"Anticipating what our customers want is not a lucky guess," Atallah said. "We pride ourselves on the depth of our research. Recognising our customers' focus on wellness and their need to experience this golfing lifestyle has guided us to developing communities like Mirador La Coleccion and Hattan III which I'm sure will attract very good response."

Mirador La Coleccion features a special collection of the upscale Mirador homes launched earlier this year to a very popular response. La Coleccion takes the best elements of Mirador architecture and style and also introduces two unique, new villa types. These authentic Spanish masterpiece homes comprise two-storey exquisitely elegant villas replete with old style chimneys, terracotta roofs and arched windows typifying the character and essence of Spanish architectural splendour.

The development is complemented by The Desert Course, an 18-hole championship course designed by Ian Baker Finch and Nicklaus Design. The 7,698-yard, par-72 course is already operational and many believe will rank among the top 100 courses anywhere in the world.

Hattan III at Emirates Golf Club are luxurious Arabic styled villas featuring open courtyards, expansive views, sandstone finishes and earthy tones form part of the new offering. The three-storey single-family detached homes are available in a choice of executive and luxury type and feature a host of modern amenities.

"Hattan III is ideal for those aspiring to a lifestyle in an established community and environment which is peaceful and tranquil and yet a stone's throw away from the heart of the city. What sets the development apart is its location next to the Emirates Golf Club and close to The Montgomerie Dubai," continued Atallah.

Offering a challenging field and world-class practice facilities, The Montgomerie Dubai and The Desert Course have emerged as star attractions for Emaar homeowners, golf enthusiasts and visitors to Dubai from all over the globe.

Today's launches follow in the wake of the success of Savannah and Hattan, golf-inspired homes which were successfully launched at Desert Classic 2004. Golf has also been the epicentre of Emaar's recent releases including Terra Nova and Al Mahra at Arabian Ranches.

According to Atallah, golf is no longer the sport of the rich and the privileged and is fast becoming a way of life for the upwardly mobile segment. "Emaar recognises this transition and has led the way by launching golfing themed developments thereby catering to a very specific golfing lifestyle.

"As a lifestyle developer which offers exclusive golfing communities as part of its properties portfolio, we share a common synergy with the Dubai Desert Classic as both are committed towards the growth and development of Dubai into a leading golfing destination. Our latest offerings add further value to this relationship."
