- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, March 02 - 2005 at 15:15
- PRESS RELEASE
Residents and tourists, expatriates and locals, many people around the emirates are purchasing postcard packs everyday, in the hope of striking it big.
Faisal joins a growing list of people who frequent Postcard Millionaire's official website to get information ranging from winning numbers to where the postcard packs are available, eligibility and validity of tickets.
The widespread popularity of the Postcard Millionaire website is reflected by its current position at the top of the list of 25 most popular Middle East websites visited by AME Info users. AME Info is one of the leading providers of regional business news, content and analysis in the Middle East. The AME Info Business Index, started by AME Info in October 2004, is a compilation of the 25 most popular Middle East business websites visited by AME Info users.
Since its inception in June 2004, the Postcard Millionaire website has been a regular source of information for all participants. For many tourists who have bought postcard packs the website has been the only link to the campaign since they left. The website is frequently updated to ensure visitors have access to new information.
"The Postcard Millionaire website is extremely user friendly and enables visitors to access information on the campaign with ease. The website provides answers to almost all the common questions that people have regarding the campaign, and hence it has proved to be a success," said Reuben Rego, Internet Consultant, Postcard Millionaire Campaign.
The various sections on the website include all the information that a resident or a tourist would need in order to be part of the campaign. The most popular section on the website has been the 'winners' section which lists the winning numbers and the names of the winners. Besides this, the other sections are 'Buy Now', which outlines where the postcard packs can be bought and the different themed postcard packs, 'Prizes', which describes the 11 prizes that can be won in the regular draws in addition to the instant scratch and win prizes, and 'About Postcard Millionaire' which explains the mechanics of the campaign.
The 'Contact us' section has been used extensively by customers as it provides them with a platform to ask campaign-related questions which are responded to regularly. Questions range from the date of the next draw and the workings of the campaign to the validity of the ticket. "Many have also written in appreciation of the Postcard Millionaire campaign," said Rego.
