DIB focuses on providing special banking services for women

In its continuing effort to promote specialized banking services for women, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) is showcasing its Al Johara service at an exhibition, on the sidelines of the First Forum for Businesswomen in Islamic Countries.
Al Johara service, DIB's special banking service designed for ladies, generated tremendous interest among the businesswomen participating at the exhibition from the UAE and African and Asian countries. The exhibition being held at the Sharjah Expo Centre has also witnessed a noticeable participation from businesswomen across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Commenting on the occasion, Mohammed Al Amiri, Senior Vice President and Head of Branches at DIB, said: "The establishment of Al Johara is part of the bank's wider expansion strategy aimed at meeting the growing demand for DIB products and services. Al Johara would offer a unique banking package designed to cater the various financial requirements of women."
DIB's participation is also aimed at focusing on the quality of DIB's services for women including Al Johara service, which developed to be an independent branch introducing comprehensive services for women.
Reem Al Suwaidi, Director of the Sharjah branch, said: "We are taking part in the exhibition to stress DIB's efforts in offering comprehensive services to businesswomen. These services would be further explained for visitors at the exhibition. As part of the bank's campaign to highlight its services during the exhibition, DIB would also promote for the inauguration of an advanced branch of Al Johara due to start operations soon in Al Ghobaybiya Area in Sharjah."
Al Johara service, spread across the UAE, has witnessed a large response in different areas across the country, she said, noting that women prefer to use special banking services that preserve their privacy. Al Johara includes a range of services that vary from bank accounts, car and home financing, investment and financing services, and other advisory services designed to help businesswomen.
DIB's Johara branches has achieved 100 per cent Emiratisation and are fully managed and administered by the most qualified UAE female financial professionals.
