New-look Majesty 118 to make Dubai Boat Show debut
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, March 05 - 2005 at 15:44
- PRESS RELEASE
UAE's Gulf Craft Inc - one of the world's leading builders of luxury yachts - will introduce the 2005 model of its flagship Majesty 118 at the Dubai International Boat Show later this month.
Architecture and design have been harmonised to give an even more spacious and luxurious interior configuration, with an exceptional level of workmanship and overall finishing.
The hardtop has been added and side windows re-shaped to create more attractive exterior lines, and new entertainment features include top-of-the-range audio and video equipment with plasma screens.
Mechanically, a new eco-friendly exhaust system has been introduced, along with extra safety and security features.
The new model has performed exceptionally well in sea-trials and has been built under Rina classification, guaranteeing a rigid construction with exemplary seaworthiness and maneuverability.
With its state-of-the-art navigation instruments, advanced monitoring systems, and twin diesel engines, the high-powered performance of the Majesty 118 can handle the most extreme weather conditions.
Aesthetically, it is equally astounding - with lavish use of Italian marble, natural leather and 24 carat gold-plated fittings.
The tone is set by the main saloon and dining room where an opulent environment is created by large fabric upholstered couches, gold plated rails and accents, plus cane flooring, extensive use of mirrors, and an entertainment centre with colour television and home theatre surrounded system.
Gulf Craft Inc is one of the few ship-builders in the world producing super-yachts of 100-foot and above, and the success of the Majesty Yachts class is ample testimony as to why it has evolved from being a small UAE boatyard to become a global one.
Since launching Majesty Yachts at last year's Dubai show, Gulf Craft has seen demand soar. Orders have been pouring in from all over the world, and exports now account for over 70 per cent of production.
The company will be the biggest single exhibitor at the Dubai International Boat Show, presenting 14 vessels from 31 feet to 118 feet in overall length, seven of them from its Majesty Yachts range - including two all-new and three new 2005 models.
