Armada Group becomes main sponsors of HH The President's Formula 2000 speedboat racing in Khor Fakkan

This was announced today at a press conference held in Sharjah which was attended by Mr. Rabi Al Hakmi, Vice-Chairman, Armada Group.

The prominent sporting event is being organized under the patronage of HH Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Deputy Ruler and Crown Prince of Sharjah, on Thursday March 24 and Friday March 25, 2005.

This major event will have the privilege to enjoy the august presence of HH Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club, and HH Sheikh Tariq bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Chairman, Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority.

"The commitment of these dignitaries to attend this sporting event is an indicator of the prominence accorded to this occasion. The UAE has been hosting major international events in various sports and speedboat racing is one such high-calibre event that is set to grip the attention of spectators and participants alike," said Dr Mohammed R. Hakmi, Chairman, Armada Group.

This exciting event will be telecast live by Abu Dhabi Sports Channel, Sharjah TV, Dubai Sports Channel, Al Jazeera Sports and Kuwait TV Channel 3. The event will also be telecast in the US through 'Speed' programme, which covers major sporting events globally. Apart from these, other regional and international media will be covering the event extensively.
