New Director of Food & Beverage joins the team at Sheraton Deira Hotel & Towers

A Persian by origin, Danny has lived most of his life in the United States of America. He is an accomplished professional in all aspect of the development and growth of the hotel industry in the USA and South East Asia totalling almost 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Trained at the Georgia State University in Atlanta, where he achieved his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, fluent in English and Persian, Danny started off his career in the hospitality industry in 1985 at The Westin Hotel, Atlanta as Assistant Restaurant Manager.

As of 1988 till 1995, Danny worked his way up the ladder at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, in Atlanta and Hongkong, where he honed his skills in areas of customer services, marketing, strategic planning besides being promoted as Maitre D'Hotel for a fine dining Italian restaurant.

Prior joining the Sheraton Deira Hotel & Towers, Danny was employed as a Senior Residential and Recreational manager for Harbour Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Hongkong for a good period of 9 years.

" Dubai is an exciting and vibrant city to be in and nothing like the present moment to be working in Dubai in one of the finest hotels as the Sheraton Deira, a city centre hotel of 224 guest rooms including suites' he said. The hotel has undergone through the first phase of soft refurbishment in guest rooms with the introduction of new electronic key card system, parquet floors by Berry Floors, room upholstery, in-room wall painting in a light pastel shade. "My aim is to strengthen the customer service skills and plan attractive strategies to break through newer markets which have strong potential for Dubai" he adds.
