Speaking about the response Mr.Ravi Raman (Manager Qatar Today) said "We always knew that this idea would create interest among our readers and general public, but frankly even we were surprised with the amazing response. We actually had to go for 2 reprints of the voting forms."

Talking about the future plans he added "This is the first of the many such intiatitives that Qatar Today plans to launch in the country. As Qatar is progressing and the market maturing, everything has to be world class and that goes for media too.It is important that media titles are marketed as brands and the end consumer (i.e reader) builds a strong relationship with it. Reading is still not a strong habit in middle east, but it is changing and as media brands offer more, readers will buy more!! "
