- PRESS RELEASE
Intel's 'Diverse Digital Domains' party, held in Dubai last Wednesday, opened new vistas in digital entertainment where it celebrated the launch of the latest Intel Centrino mobile technology for notebook PCs, combined with the Dubai launch of Compost Records*, a London based alternative club culture music label.
In addition to Compost's tunes; the presence of Beirut's Djette L, the live digital art on video performance by the UK's VJ Buzzard Buzzard, and the Intel Mobile Experience Lounge- a futuristic space dedicated to technology-helped immerse guests in a series of audio-visual experiences to represent the new digital entertainment capabilities that are now available to mainstream computer users. Organised by 9714, a progressive arts and events promotion company based in Dubai, Diverse Digital Domains flagged off at 9:00 pm at the M-Level at Hilton Dubai Creek, continuing until the early hours of the morning, and was attended by representatives from media business, and social circles, as well as young urban professionals from all walks of life.
Commenting on the Diverse Digital Domains party, Aysegul Ildeniz, Regional Director for Intel in the Middle East Turkey and Africa region highlighted that the party was a prelude to the second anniversary of Intel Centrino mobile technology and an ongoing celebration of how wireless mobile platforms can transform the way the world works and lives. +
"The Intel Centrino mobile technology is closely associated with enabling professionals to work when they are on the road, and now, they can also be entertained while on the move. The combination of art, technology and music at the Diverse Digital Domains party was a unique live showcase to represent entertainment in the digital age," she said.
Intel Centrino mobile platform's consumer and office-friendly capabilities allow a laptop to be transformed into an integrated wireless communicator, gaming console, home theatre, MP3 player and vital business companion - all presented in a sleek mobile design.
