Dubai pharmaceutical company signs deal to manufacture UK drugs

Globalpharma LLC is a subsidiary of Dubai Investment PJSC, one of the leading organisations in the United Arab Emirates, founded in 1995 with the aim of promoting business opportunities in the region.

The licensing agreement will allow Globalpharma LLC to manufacture and market Tiverton pharmaceuticals in the UAE. The agreement will begin initially with three products with the possibility of further brands in the near future.

Mr Khalid Bin Kalban, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Investments PJSC and Chairman of Globalpharma, is supportive of the agreement, and encourages increased co-operation with international pharmaceutical companies. "We are delighted to have signed the production licensing agreement with Tiverton laboratories," added Mr Kalban. " It will further strengthen our market position and consolidate our status as a major pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Middle East."

Mr. Simon Tate, Managing Director of Tiverton Laboratories, UK, has expressed enthusiasm about initiating a relationship with Globalpharma, and is optimistic about its development and the subsequent growth prospects for the future.

"After touring and reviewing Globalpharma's offices and production plant, I am both pleased and impressed with the high standard and structure of the facilities."
