Aviation deaths down

There were less passenger deaths and aircraft destroyed for commercial transport in 2004, than any year since the World War II, according to the industry's global body the IATA. In 2004 a total of 428 people lost their lives out of more than 1.8 billion passengers carried by all airlines, including low-cost carriers.
