Qtel, GSM in Oman

Qatar Telecom will offer GSM coverage to about 60 per cent of Oman when its service starts in the Sultanate on March 16, according to Gulf News. Nawras Telecom, a joint venture between Qtel and TeleDenmark Communications plans to invest about USD1.8bn in projects in Oman over the next ten years.
