Chevrolet announces special concert promotion with McDonalds
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 10 March 2005 - The UAE concert, presented by Chevrolet, will be held at Dubai Media City on 12 May 2005.
"Chevrolet is very pleased to present Destiny's Child live in concert for the first time in the UAE," said Gerry Groenewegen, Regional Marketing Manager for Chevrolet. "This exciting event is the perfect follow-up to the four-day Chevrolet Live event in the Creek Park in December, where we combined music, arts and cars in a unique family event for a crowd that was definitely - to borrow a phrase from Destiny's Child - 'Jumpin, Jumpin.
"Chevrolet Live will support a series of high profile events around the region in coming months. We believe in getting up close and personal with our customers - events like the Creek Park and Destiny's Child concerts help demonstrate what the Chevrolet brand stands for - fun and excitement, design and innovation, safety and strength, power and performance."
A joint promotion, organised by Chevrolet and the international tour's key sponsor, McDonalds, will also offer regional fans the chance to purchase tickets at a discounted rate and go into a draw to win one of ten Chevrolet Optras.
