The number of visitors registered till Thursday afternoon was over 10,000 with prospects for a heavy turnout on Thursday afternoon and Friday owing to weekend holiday.

Boys and girls from over 20 government and private sector schools in Dubai and Sharjah visited the shows and took advantage of the various courses and careers being offered by educational and financial institutions present at the shows.

Morning sessions were pretty busy since most of the students visited the shows between 10 am and 1 pm. Parents, graduates and others mostly preferred the evening sessions to acquaint themselves with the shows.

"We have received more than 350 student forms for information. The response for the show is very good. We will participate next year also," said Malik Ameer of Itihad University.

The UAE Ministry of Interior Police College received more than 800 students at its booth at the education show. "We have received many enquiries. Many local boys are interested to have higher education in the Police Academy,"
said Captain Nasser K. Al Kaabi of the College.

Students Mohammed Ali, Saleh and Abdullah were impressed with the education show. "The show helps us in taking a decision on our higher education," they said. Sharjah College and Police Academy are high on their plans for higher education.

Banks participating in the career exhibition were all praise for the show.

"The show is well organised. We are satisfied with the participation," said Saleh Jamal M. Sharif of the Human Resources Development Department of Dubai Islamic Bank.

The HSBC Bank received more than 2,000 CVs till Thursday. "The visitor turnout was very high on the ladies only day. We have received over 2,000 CVs," said Amro Abdullah A. Al Qubaisi of HSBC Bank.
