DM to organise training courses on statistical analysis and time management

Dubai Municipality is organising three training courses this week as part of its ongoing internal training programme for the year 2005.
Moosa said the courses this week include "Time and self management and controlling the work pressures," and "Methods of collecting and analysing statistical data."
Moosa said the first course, "Time and self management and controlling the work pressures," to be participated by a group of secretaries from different sections and departments of the municipality, would be held at Rashidiya Public Library from 8am to 2.30pm from 13 to 15 March.
Moosa said the participants would be familiarized with the reasons, forms and sources of work pressures and ways of bettering the condition.
They will be briefed on the methods of time management on daily, weekly, monthly or annual bases and developing the participants' skills in innovation and novelty regarding time management. They will also be acquainted with the modern methods of controlling work pressures.
There will also be presentations on certain applications in time management, economic, organizational and behavioural impacts of time management, and some success stories in time management.
He said the training course called, "Methods of collecting and analysing statistical data," to be participated by a number of employees from different sections and departments of the municipality, would be held at the Municipal Council Hall from 25 to 29 September. The course, to be conducted with the co-operation of the Statistics Centre of Dubai Municipality, would be held from 5pm to 9pm. Zain Al Abideen Al Syed Ahmed from the Centre will give lectures in this course.
He said the course on "Methods of collecting and analysing statistical data," designed for employees who prepare monthly or annual reports of accomplished tasks providing statistical data from the work sites, would enable the participants to understand the importance of statistics and its different uses, develop the skills in preparing statistical data and brief them on the methods of collecting statistical data focusing on recorded data.
