- United Arab Emirates: Monday, March 14 - 2005 at 08:48
- PRESS RELEASE
Emirates Post has re-launched its 'Bharat Parcel Guaranteed' service to India with more value-added features, complemented by a promotion that offers attractive prizes in weekly draws.
Major highlights of the service are direct delivery to home or office and a money-back guarantee if the parcel is not delivered to the destination within two weeks. Users of the service will also get a free pack of Postcard Millionaire postcards with each parcel (until 31st of March). In addition, customers can collect Airmiles, at the rate of one Airmile for every Dirham. The weekly prizes in the raffle draw are a digital camera and ten mobile phones from Cellucom-Nokia, sponsors of the promotion.
The enhanced Bharat Parcel Guaranteed service also offers tracking facility either through Emirates Post's website or through the call centre (04-3340033).
"The tremendous response to the 'Bharat Parcel Guaranteed' service has prompted us to add new benefits to the scheme, as a reward to our loyal customers," said Mr. Abdullah Al Daboos, Director General of Emirates Post. "The service will provide a greater incentive for our customers to send parcels to their near and dear ones in India."
"We have tied up with a private Indian courier company to ensure timely and safe delivery of the parcels across the length and breadth of India. This collaboration has eliminated the problems that sometimes affected our Indian parcel service in the past," Mr. Al Daboos added.
The weekly draws for the ten mobile phones and a digital camera will be conducted electronically every Wednesday at Emirates Post's head office. Winners will be informed individually by telephone. Names of the winners will be announced on the Emirates Post website.
