DCCI receives General Secretary of Gulf Organization for Industrial Consultancy (GOIC)

Mr. Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, President of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) assured the importance of supporting the small and medium enterprises (SME) and the industrial sector in general.
The meeting discussed the ways of strengthening the relationship and the possible cooperation areas between the DCCI and GOIC. Dr. Al Mutawa showcased the role of the organization in promoting the industrial opportunities and providing consultancy services on establishing industrial projects.
Dr. Al Mutawa pointed to the organization's effort in promoting the opportunities, he mentioned that GOIC promoted 325 industrial opportunities and there were currently 48 manufacturing and others under the process of establishment.
Mr. Al Tayer welcomed the GOIC initiative in activating the relationships with the governments and industrial authorities and exhibited DCCI interest in cooperating with the organization. Mr. Al Tayer explained that DCCI recognize the importance of the studies and data, mentioning that there is a Department in the Chamber specializing in making periodic studies. He pointed to the importance of supporting the small and medium enterprises and appreciated the government support to these projects by establishments and programs that supports financing these enterprises.
He expressed DCCI attitude to organize a forum to promote the industrial opportunities by providing the facilities and halls and explained the chamber's interest in supporting the industrial sector.
