Sheikh Ahmed told the Minister that Emirates was interested in serving Buenos Aires with the airline's new Airbus A340-500 with a daily non-stop operation from Dubai. Both the Minister and Sheikh Ahmed agreed there was an excellent potential for commercial and tourism traffic between the two cities.
Emirates was also represented at the meeting by Tim Clark, President Emirates Airline, while Minister Meyer's delegation included Mr Jorge Lukowski, Corporate Director of Argentina Airports, and Mr G Brooks, Assistant Secretary of Tourism.
Emirates Chairman discusses Buenos Aires services with Argentinean Minister of Tourism
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman of Emirates, discussed the possibility of Emirates services between Dubai and Buenos Aires with HE Carlos Meyer, the Argentinean Minister of Tourism, when they met on the Emirates stand at the ITB travel fair in Berlin today.
