- United Arab Emirates: Monday, March 14 - 2005 at 14:47
- PRESS RELEASE
Mindware, the top distributor of quality IT products in the Middle East and North Africa and Nexans Cabling Solutions, the worldwide leader in the structured cabling industry recently organized a 3-day training workshop at the Al Bustan Rotana in Dubai.
Representing a number of international technology brands including Intel, Microsoft and others, Mindware has repeatedly proven itself as an excellent value-added distributor of IT products and solutions within Arab IT markets. As a regional distributor of Nexans structured cabling products, Mindware keenly participated in the training sessions to provide hands-on experience to 35 attendees on Nexans' complete range of cabling solutions, including the latest LANmark-7 Category 7 cabling, which is capable of handling 10 Gigabit Ethernet future applications. The training was delivered by Alain Geypens, Training Manager at Nexans' headquarters in Belgium.
Speaking on the dynamic training exercise, Malcolm Noronha, Product Manager, Mindware, said: "Since our key tie-up with Nexans Cabling Solutions, we have been constantly reviewing and implementing methods to effectively reach deeper within our wide reseller network in distributing Nexans' solutions throughout the region. It has been our core strategy to possess in-depth technical know-how through developing system installers and system integrators who are fully trained on the Nexans' product line. With attendees being awarded Nexans' certification, this training session is a perfect example of Mindware's commitment towards its strategic partners in the region."
"At Nexans, we believe that product quality is as important as installation and support services in the structured cabling industry. To achieve the latter, it is essential to possess strong, loyal value-added resellers towards our mutual business growth," said Tarek Helmy, Regional Director of Nexans Cabling Solutions in the Middle East and Gulf.
"We successfully joined hands with Mindware last year to enjoy the benefits of a wide reseller network with excellent support features such as well-trained sales personnel and high stock levels. Nexans has been doing exceptionally good business in recent times, and we look forward to growing with Mindware," concluded Helmy.
