Humanitarian law course

The treatment of civilians and POWs in wartime and the prosecution of war criminals were among subjects studied on a new course in international humanitarian law, organised by Dubai Aid City and Swiss Academy. A dozen participants took eight lessons on the laws applicable in international and non-international armed conflicts. They also learnt how to apply the Geneva Conventions.
