Cement, steel prices now stable

UAE steel and cement prices are stable, and off their recent highs, reported Gulf News. Cement is presently Dhs257 per tonne, down 15 per cent on four months ago. Steel is 10 per cent cheaper than four months ago at Dhs1,700 per tonne. But these are still the highest price levels in the GCC.
