Some of the technology advancements in the Hitachi 7800 series are the Advanced ALIS (Alternate Lighting of Surfaces) Panel, 68.6 billion color variation mechanism (the 7800 series is able to reflect the most natural colors), Longest Panel Life of approximately 60,000 hours, Dynamic Multi Band Pass (MBP) colour filter, advanced digital signal processor, built-in TV tuner, DVD Player and Set-top-box compatible remote control, Multi Picture option, Motorised swivel mechanism, high definition multimedia interface, photo input terminal, detachable speaker system, etc. Hitachi plasma TV¡¦s are manufactured at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for plasma TV¡¦s in Japan.

Advanced ALIS PanelThe ALIS (Alternate Lighting of Surfaces) technology has amazing ability to match high definition input signals. With its fine pitch display of approximately 1.05 million pixels (1,024x1,024) and panel luminance of 1,200 cd/m2 .Every detail and vision are perfectly distinguished, making images the way they should be. This is an innovative concept in Plasma TVs.
Dynamic MBP Colour
The 7800 series is equipped with the Dynamic Multi Band Pass (MBP) colour filter. It improves the reproduction of black significantly without sacrificing the brightness level. Also the monitor has AR (anti-reflection) film to minimize reflection so as to provide higher, clearer, definition pictures.
Multi Picture
Different frame selections give you a choice of multi-picture.
Motorised Swivel Mechanism
The table-top stand is equipped with motorized-rotating mechanism that lets you rotate the plasma screen (30,,a either to the left or right) using the remote control.
