- PRESS RELEASE

The PRM system was launched by Mr. J. H. Park, President, Samsung Gulf Electronics, at the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel in UAE, and was attended by delegates from the company's distributor and dealer communities.
"Samsung plans to establish direct communication links with its dealers and wants to take the business support operations to the highest level of competency. In order to achieve this objective, we plan to strengthen our distribution network by establishing a robust web-based communication channel that facilitates seamless flow of information between the company and its partners in UAE. We believe that an operation of this magnitude has never been attempted in the region and hence this is yet another first from Samsung," said Mr. J. H. Park, President, Samsung Gulf Electronics.
Samsung's all four product divisions comprising mobile phones, information technology, home appliances and audio visual will utilise the web-based system to announce new incentive schemes for their extensive channel network on a regular basis. Furthermore, the PRM system will allow Samsung to share business information with its dealers and distribution partners. The areas covered will include new product specifications, direct incentives and benefits, product surveys, newsletter services, forthcoming launches, events and schemes and training programs and modules.
